Article: Leukaemia girl's father to raise cash for CLIC sargent

Colleagues of a man whose daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia last year will be taking part in the Bath Half Marathon in support of his eight-year-old.

Employees at Walcot Street firm PicoChip will be running to raise money for CLIC Sargent, which has supported Mark Curtis and his family during his daughter's illness.

Amber Curtis is now waiting for a bone marrow transplant, which is due to take place in April, using bone marrow donated by her six- year-old sister Rebecca.

The bravery of the eight-year-old from Wells has inspired many to raise money for CLIC Sargent, which helps care for young people with cancer and leukaemia.
