March quietly sneaks in with a few early modest auctions. Midway
through, the tempo quickens, and a big art sale should provide a
lion-like exit to end the month.
J.S. Dill Auctions
It's auction night. The phones are ringing. And Jack Dill is
writing ad copy for three upcoming sales at his Zelienople-based
auction house.
"Things are just wacko here right now," Dill says. "But we have
three sales in the next few weeks, including a big one on March 14.
That one is a very nice collection of Americana from a local
collector."
The auction includes plenty of 18th- and 19th-century furniture
such as a curly maple, two-piece corner cupboard; a walnut,
