I applaud this decision. It's what I and thousands of others from
the North who support the FAI side have been waiting for, and maybe
now the IFA will waken up and realise why 45% of the population of
the North of Ireland remains alienated from their team and jettison
the unionist flags and symbols at games.
I'm all for freedom of choice and am only sorry that greats from
former eras like Jennings, O'Neill, Best and Dougan etc didn't have
this option.

I don't understand why Northern Ireland fans are complaining
about players being poached etc. The Northern Ireland u21s are
actively trying to recruit English lads who have already played for
England u19s.
Is this not poaching?
