JERUSALEM, March 5 (Xinhua) -- A bulldozer driver who rammed his
vehicle Thursday into a police car in Jerusalem died of his wounds
after he was shot by a taxi driver and police at the scene, an
Israel Police spokesman told Xinhua on the phone.
Two police officers inside the police car were lightly hurt in
the incident, which took place near the popular Malkha shopping
mall, on Menachem Begin Boulevard in southern Jerusalem, said the
spokesman, Micky Rosenfeld, adding that police have heightened
security in Jerusalem after the incident.
