European Central Bank cuts key rate by 50 points to 1.50 percent

BERLIN, March 5 (Xinhua) -- The European Central Bank (ECB) on Thursday cuts its key interest rate by 50 points to 1.50 percent to counter the economic slowdown in the eurozone.
