MILFORD -- Lauralton Hall coach Steve Schuler praised Hailey
Murray's defense on the perimeter. He spoke highly of freshman
Nicola Matero and said Molly Yardley came up with some critical
plays.
Like most coaches, Schuler dislikes to single out players so he
talks about each one that makes up his nine-player rotation.
But Thursday there was no way around it. It was hard not to
seperate Keylantra Langley from the rest of the bunch. Behind 34
points from Langley, including a pair of free throws to force
overtime, the third-seeded Crusaders escaped an upset against No. 14
Hamden with a come-from-behind, 87-80 overtime win in the second
round of the Class LL state ...
