HARTFORD - Samuel Bergami Jr. worked his way up the ranks to
become chief executive officer and president of Alinabal Inc. From
his view at the top these days, he sees clients cutting back while
he, too, must carefully analyze every decision from capital
purchases to building improvements.
"Every one of our customers is laying off," Bergami said
Wednesday during Connecticut Business Day at the Legislative Office
Building. Alinabal is based in Milford and makes components used in
agriculture, aerospace, automotive, medical and other industries.
"We're looking closely at capital equipment and holding off on some
green initiatives."
