Songbird Research open for business

Beth Cross-Wilhelm, formerly a senior corporate paralegal at the Rochester law firm of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP has launched a new company offering paralegal support services.

Songbird Research began operating in January out of Cross- Wilhelm's home at 4280 East Ave., Pittsford.

Cross-Wilhelm has 25 years of paralegal experience, including more than 12 years as part of Woods Oviatt's marketing and investment committees. She also is the securities law research assistant to University of Rochester President Joel Seligman, co- author of the Securities Regulation treatise and "Fundamentals of Securities Regulation."
