THE hunt for missing pensioner Mary Ferns is set to go national
for the first time on the eve of her 89th birthday.
The story of her mysterious disappearance has been lined up as
the main feature on the BBC's UK-wide Missing Live programme on
Monday.
Mary, known to her family as May, was last seen on June 17 last
year, when she left her house in the Howden area of Livingston.
Stepdaughter Anne Foster said: "Maybe there was someone who was
on holiday in Edinburgh that day and saw her, and won't be aware of
the repeated appeals that we've had up here.
"We're desperate for any new information on her disappearance, ...
