BRANFORD -- You know spring is near because Ronald Mehmet's
mobile gaming van and laser tag emporium is revving into high gear.
You can't miss him out on the road. He's the guy tooling around
in the $110,000 van outfitted with five, 50-inch TVs -- three on the
inside and two on the outside. Also, the van's paint job is a
collage of Mario, Slash, NFL players and various characters from
other popular video games.
"It was a struggle during the winter, but through March, April
and early May, I'm booked solid. I think I have one day in April
that's open," says Mehmet, co-owner of Connecticut's only Games2U
franchise.
