Soccer enthusiast solicits support Nigeria's Super Eagles

LAGOS, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Emmanuel Attah, Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FA), has urged Nigerians to support the Super Eagles to qualify for the World Cup, slated for South Africa in 2010, according to the reports of the News Agency of Nigeria.

The Super Eagles will on March 29, engage Mozambique's Mambas in the first leg of their qualifiers at the 60,000 capacity Machava Stadium in Maputo.

He said the support from Nigerians was crucial for the team, which would be playing against a team that would be supported by a large home crowd.
