Nepali gov't reaches deal with agitating Muslim community

KATHMANDU, March 17 (Xinhua) -- The agitating Muslim communities in Nepal and the government concluded their talk after reaching the six-point deal on Monday evening.

The deal has been reached on forming a Muslim Commission and providing a constitutional guarantee of the identity of Muslims.

The Muslim community in Nepal were stirring together with Tharus community in southern plain and other indigenous communities demanding the independent identities of indigenous nationalities.
