The state's Home Improvement Contractor registration law, which
takes effect July 1, is the topic of the general membership meeting
of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh. Doug Meshaw,
executive vice president of the Pennsylvania Builders Association,
and Mark Fortney of the Pennsylvania Housing Research Center, will
be the speakers. The meeting, at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Pittsburgh
Marriott North at Cranberry Woods, also will cover changes in the
building code.
The Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Healthcare System awarded
a contract to P.J. Dick Inc. for the Cares Consolidation Phase Two
