ANNOUNCEMENTS Cancer benefit Erin Dellorso, a junior at Broadneck
High School, will host a cancer benefit in honor of her late
grandmother from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Loews Hotel. Tickets to
Lavinias Tea are $50, and proceeds benefit the National Breast and
Ovarian Cancer Coalition. The menu features finger sandwiches, fruit
kabobs with chocolate fondue, biscuits with whipped creme and fresh
berries, mini eclairs, napoleons, lemon and pecan squares, and a
selection of herbal teas. Tabitha LaRue Abrams, who has been
fighting ovarian cancer for over a decade, will be the featured
speaker along with Erin, whose grandmother died of the disease.
