A brief history of Farley & Loetscher

Farley & Loetscher manufacturing company was once considered the largest millworking plant in the world.

Farley & Loetscher began in 1875 when Christian Loetscher, a 25- year-old Swiss immigrant, opened a millworking business.

In 1876, Loetscher formed a partnership with A.B. Carlin and J. Rickard. The company, renamed Clark, Rickard and Co., bought the Key City Planing and remained a small millwork factory.
