HILLSBORO - Kathleen (Kay) A. Goss, 70, died Thursday, March 19,
2009, at home after a yearlong battle with cancer.
She was born in Hillsboro on Aug. 19, 1938, to Dewey and Lillian
(Dodge) Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of the town and a
graduate of Hillsboro High School.
Kay worked at Sylvania, Hillsboro Dairy, Hillsboro Lumber,
Central Concrete, and she owned and operated Patenaude Lumber Co.
for many years.
She loved the ocean, spending her summers at York Beach, Maine,
and winters in Marco Island, Fla., with many friends and family. She
loved spending time with her grandkids, watching them grow up
