A plymouth asylum-seeker attempted to steal clothing from a city
shop, but changed his mind because he felt it was the wrong thing to
do, a court heard.
Ehsan Beykzadeh pleaded guilty to attempting to steal a pair of
trainers and a jumper valued at pounds42 from TK Maxx on February 26
before Plymouth magistrates.
The court heard that Beykzadeh, aged 18, of Greenbank Avenue, had
gone to the store with another male, and the two were seen moving
around on CCTV.
The other male selected a pair of trainers and put them on, and
tried to pull the security tag off but couldn't. Beykzadeh was then
