Leo Joseph 'Lee' Beckman
Leo Joseph "Lee" Beckman, 93, passed away on March 9, 2009, at
Angel River Nursing and Re-
habilitation.
He was born on May 16, 1915, in Siberia, Indiana, to Martha and
Antone Beckman. Lee graduated from Bristow High School and attended
Evansville College. Throughout WWII, Lee was a supervisor at
Republican Aviation. He later was a co-founder of Majestic
Fabricators and worked for many years in restaurant equipment and
sales. Lee was a lifetime member of the West Side Optimist Club and
was also awarded the honor of Kentucky Colonel. He was an avid
golfer and bowler and was always dedicated to his family.
