Carolyn J. Miller, who introduced scores of Miami Valley children to the joys of performing on stage, died March 12. She was 82.

Best known as director of the Jewish Community Center's "Once Upon A Time Theatre," Miller wrote and directed children's plays in Dayton and Kettering for more than 35 years, also staging productions at area schools and churches.
