Article: Tech, community college are symbiotic: ; Integrating them would help students and the community

AT least three bills have been introduced in the state Senate and
House of Delegates that could impact the relationship between the
West Virginia University Institute of Technology and the Community
and Technical College of WVU Tech.
This administration enthusiastically supports legislation that
will integrate Tech's Community and Technical College into the same
institution as the West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
This will not only benefit students at both institutions, but
state taxpayers and the economies of Montgomery and Southern West
Virginia.
If passed, this integration will result in a single WVU Division
that includes three colleges: the College of Business, ...
