What a splendid way to publicly announce plans to build a new
$125 million building!
The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, assisted by Oklahoma's
present and former first ladies, went all-out at the National Cowboy
& Western Heritage Museum with a dinner, dance and 3-D movie (no, it
didn't star Dan D. Dynamo!), with Oklahoma City University's
American Spirit Dancers handing out the necessary spectacles to the
black-tie audience.
Unfortunately, the audience was sparse because the party was for
a statewide audience and at least half of the guests couldn't come
because they were snowed in - or expected to be. Many tables had
empty seats and some were totally empty. Those folks missed a ...
