LeROY - When the search for Jack and Duncan Leichtenberg ended in
tragedy, Rhonda Cilley of Greenfield, N.H., was among the first to
know.
Cilley, one of 4,900 members of the "the official jack and
duncan" Facebook group, got a direct message around 6:20 a.m. Monday
from a family friend who moderates the group.
It was close to 9 a.m. when police confirmed to the media, and
the rest of the world, that the LeRoy boys were dead.
"My heart just broke," Cilley said in an e-mail.
The boys and the body of their father, Michael Connolly, were
found late Sunday afternoon in a remote area of Putnam County. They
had been missing since March 8, when the boys failed to return home
after a scheduled ...
