Article: Burger Fuel to open stores in Saudi

Listed burger chain Burger Fuel has signed a deal with one of Saudi Arabia's top 100 companies to boost its Middle East aspirations.

Executive director Josef Roberts said the deal with the Abdulla Fouad Group meant Burger Fuel stores would be opened in Saudi and Bahrain, but he could not say how many.

The New Zealand-founded gourmet burger chain has 26 stores in New Zealand and two in Australia, but had struggled to keep expanding due to the economic conditions.
