Article: New helicopter emergency in North Sea

A North Sea Super Puma helicopter was involved in an emergency landing yesterday prompting further workforce fears about safety.

The aircraft made a precautionary landing on an accommodation and service installation 150 miles east of Aberdeen after reporting a fuel problem.

The latest incident in the North Sea took place less than six hours after a cortege of hearses, carrying the bodies of eight of the 16 men killed in last Wednesday's Super Puma disaster, had left Aberdeen harbour following the recovery of the wreckage of flight 85N from the seabed off the Buchan coast.
