Korf, MD, PhD, FACMG, of Birmingham, AL is the new president of The American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG), the national professional organization for medical genetics professionals. Dr. Korf takes over from outgoing President Joe Leigh Simpson, MD, FACMG, of Miami, FL who completed his two-year term at the 2009 Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting in Tampa, Florida in late March.
