DiamondRock's stock offering
Lodging real estate investment trust DiamondRock Hospitality Co.
said Tuesday that it priced its public offering of 15.5 million
shares of its common stock at $4.85 per share. Merrill Lynch & Co.
and Wachovia Securities are acting as joint underwriters for the
offering. The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to buy
up to an additional 2.3 million shares of common stock to cover
possible over-allotments. Bethesda-based DiamondRock said it plans
to use the net proceeds from the offering to pay down debt and for
general corporate purposes.
