City native honored
Kenneth Frisch, a Charleston native and graduate of George
Washington High School, has received the 2009 Community Counseling
Service Award for Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the
Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Frisch, the son of George and Thelma Frisch of Charleston, is
director of development for Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
Frisch began his career as a high school teacher in Ohio. Lacking
funds for the arts, he began raising money for the school and
community theater - and found a new career.
He has been with Hospice of Northwest Ohio since 2003, helping to
raise the final $6.4 million of a $9 million capital campaign.
