Arthur D. Kreider, 87, of Lancaster, went Home to be with his
Lord, on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving
family.
Born February 24, 1922, in Lancaster, he was the son of the late
Arthur D. and Elma L. (Huber) Kreider. He was married to Theda M.
(Schopf) on November 1, 1945.
Mr. Kreider attended Manor High School and graduated from Stevens
Trade. A Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict, Art proudly served
with the U.S. Air Force. While serving in WWII and stationed in the
Asiatic Pacific Theatre, with the 8th Photo Recon Squadron, 5th Air
Force, he and his squadron earned 5 Distinguished Unit Badges
(Presidential Unit Citations).
