Article: Angry Driver Charged With Pointing Bb Gun

A Columbia man was charged with simple assault after following another car and pointing a BB gun at the driver, Manheim Township police said.

Sgt. Tom Rudzinski said the 60-year-old Lancaster man who reported the incident on Friday had no idea the weapon was a BB gun when he phoned police.

"He thought it was a real gun," Rudzinski said today. "Unfortunately, a lot of BB guns look like the real thing."

Police located Christopher Picard, 19, Oak Hollow Drive, Columbia, after the victim gave the license plate number to police.
