Sorenson -- 50 Years

Stan and Wanda Sorenson of Selah celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 18 with a luncheon hosted by their children.

Stan Sorenson and Wanda Atwood were married April 17, 1959, at Deliverance Temple in Yakima. They are lifelong area residents.

Mr. and Mrs. Sorenson are retired.

The couple has two children, Tim Sorenson of Moxee and Terri Barnett of Selah. They also have three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

Young -- 50 Years

Dale and Monica Young will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 25 with an open house for family and friends at Sun Country Estate's clubhouse. The event will be hosted by their children and granddaughter.
