Families and fitness fanatics joined forces to raise money for St
Andrew's Children's Hospice, Grimsby.
The daytime event and gala ball at Humberston Country Club were
organised by the club's new manager, Nick Wardekker.
Members and non-members joined in with a selection of sporting
and social activities, from a sponsored swimathon to a car wash.
Mr Wardekker said: "My mother was a nurse for 34 years and I lost
her to cancer last year.
"It inspired me to help hospices, so when I moved to Humberston
three months ago I visited St Andrew's and was very moved by what it
does.
"We made pounds250 in the first couple of hours and everybody
seemed to be enjoying themselves.
