Circuit Court Judge Bobby Turk is expected to deliver the fate of
William Schamback Shelton into the hands of a jury today.
Closing arguments in Shelton's second-degree murder trial are set
to begin at 9:30 a.m. in Montgomery County Circuit Court. Two days
of witness testimony wrapped up Thursday.
Shelton, 29, is charged in connection with the death of 14-month-
old Evan Tucker Lytton-McFalls of Plum Creek. The boy was found
unconscious in his home on Feb. 9, 2008, and died later that day
after being removed from life support.
Thursday's testimony focused on the medical aspects of the case,
including the cause of death.
