Salvador Navarro scored the first goal and assisted on the last
to lead Davis' charging boys soccer team to a 3-1 victory over
Southridge in CBBN play Tuesday at Davis Field.
The Pirates, winners of four straight and six of seven, completed
their regular season at 8-5 in league and 9-5 overall. They have a
bye Saturday.
Jorge Sanchez's penalty kick in the 35th minute broke a 1-1 tie
and put Davis ahead for good against the Suns (9-3), who entered the
day in second.
