Lancaster County Commissioners approved a settlement Tuesday with
the county's former health-insurance broker, ending a six-month-
long dispute over the payment of insurance-premium fees.
In their work session Tuesday morning, commissioners signed off
on an arrangement that cuts Corporate Healthcare Strategies LLC in
on fees even though the company is no longer the county's broker of
record.
The county is not paying out additional money as part of the
settlement, but rather is requiring its current insurance brokers -
Whalen Insurance Associates and Benecon Group - to share their fees
with Corporate Healthcare Strategies, which does business as
StoudtAdvisors.
