Exeter's Force Cancer Charity has launched a special appeal to
make treatment easier for local breast cancer patients.
The charity has undertaken to purchase four breast boards, at a
cost of pounds4,000 each, for the Oncology Centre at the Royal
Devon & Exeter Hospital, Wonford
Force is confident that it already has the money for two of the
boards - the proceeds of a special fashion show in Topsham which
raised pounds1,500, and the funds that 62 people will raise, running
on the charity's behalf in the Great West Run in the city on Sunday.
That leaves another pounds8,000 to find and it is appealing
through Action Echo for help in raising that sum which it will ring-
fence for the boards.
