Kay Goebel and James Pickel make an awesome twosome and they
deserve a special applause. They co-chaired the Arthritis
Foundation's annual Tribute to Excellence benefit at the Skirvin
Hilton Hotel, which featured a cocktail reception, dinner, two
people receiving awards, a talk about the work of the foundation and
a video. The evening was completed before 8:30 p.m. Imagine that, a
two-hour event.
Congratulations, you two. You really run a tight ship.
The brief talk by foundation member Pattye Moore was informative
and succinct.
The video about 8-year-old Cole Bumgardner and the "older"
honoree H.E. Gene Rainbolt was interesting, educational and
