Frustrated last week by an under-par performance with the bat on
a miserable day in east Cornwall, Callington remain eager for the
fray.

Cornwall Premier League was severely disrupted by rain and the newly
promoted side drew the short straw at New Road where they lost the
toss, were asked to bat by visiting Falmouth and promptly dismissed
for 116 before the rain set in.
Today they travel to champions St Just with a point to prove and
their confidence unaffected by an altogether unsatisfying return to
the top flight after an absence of two seasons.
