Mum Dawn Osborne is calling for more school units to support
young people who have behavioural, emotional or social problems
after a similar project helped to turn her son's life around.
Less than a year ago 13-year-old Ashley Osborne was expelled from
James Brindley Science College in Chell after becoming aggressive
and disruptive.
Mrs Osborne, of Cumberbatch Avenue, Fegg Hayes, says her
previously happy son found himself unable to cope with the larger
classes and workload when he moved from primary to secondary school.
At her wits' end, and unwilling to put Ashley into another
mainstream school as he became more unpredictable, Dawn heard about
