Article: Career Center board approves site bid package

WOOSTER -- The ceremonial start to the master plan for the overhaul of the Career Center facility was accompanied by procedural details.

A bid package for early site improvements and the new swing space building at the Wayne County Schools Career Center was approved by the board at a special meeting following a groundbreaking ceremony for the new construction project.

The bid package, totaling about $2.36 million, was about 23 percent under the amount estimated by the board and administration.

"We were very fortunate for that. We were obviously very happy," said Lynn Moomaw, director of operations and adult education.
