The 27th commencement ceremony of the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design had all of the trappings of any graduation, and some unique elements besides.

Held Saturday at Franklin & Marshall College's elegant Barshinger Center for the Musical Arts in Hensel Hall, the commencement ceremony was an intimate affair, with about 50 graduates receiving Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees.

As family members and friends awaited the procession of graduates, examples of the graduates' work - their graphic designs, illustrations, photographs, prints and paintings - flashed on a large screen suspended above the stage.
