Cambodian, Thai military officials meet at frontier near Preah
Vihear PHNOM PENH, May 9 (Xinhua) -- More than 30 junior military
officials from Cambodia and Thailand at the frontier line of Veal
Intry near Preah Vihear met there on Friday to deepen their
understandings and to ease tensions at the place, a military
official said on Saturday.
The low level military officials agreed at the meeting not to
mobile soldiers and move forward to the Cambodian land, Yim Phim,
military commander for Veal Intry and Phnom Trep areas said.
They also plan to meet in a week regularly, and the senior
