Mabel Brudereck Thomas, of St. John's Herr Estates in Columbia,
passed away peacefully on Sunday morning following a short illness.
She had been a patient at Lancaster General Hospital.
She was born on November 1, 1920, in Reading, Pennsylvania, the
daughter of Arthur Emil Brudereck and Mabel Hart. On August 23,
1941, she married Lewis Seltzer "Tui" Thomas who survives her. They
were married at her grandparents' farm at Joanna, near Morgantown.
Growing up in Joanna, she graduated from Birdsboro High School in
1937 as class Salutatorian. A few years later she graduated from
McCann Business School and over the next several years held a number
