TURNER - Clyde (Bob) F. Meisner, 85, died May 11, in Turner.

He was born in Andover, on July 29, 1923, the son of Lillian Robar Meisner and Kenneth Meisner, and was educated in Andover schools. He entered the U.S. Navy on Jan. 30, 1943, and served in the Asiatic Pacific, earning the rank of Ship's Cook Second Class. He received the World War II Victory Medal.

After separation from the Navy Seabees on Nov. 24, 1945, he pursued a career in the restaurant business, working at various establishments in Maine, including The Bethel Inn, Belgrade Inn, Augusta House and The Lakewood Inn.
