Money might be tight for most people at the moment but the
organisers of Devon County Show plan to make this year's event
better value than ever.
As well as introducing a host of new credit-crunch busting ticket
deals, they are highlighting the value of local food to the budget-
conscious consumer.
Running for three days at Westpoint Arena, near Exeter, from
Thursday, May 21, until Saturday, May 23, there will also be non-
stop entertainment in six rings, including thrilling motorcycle and
quad bike stunts, an awe-inspiring falconry display on horseback,
scurry driving, axe racing, vintage tractors, steam engines and
performing dogs.
