Article: Car passenger refused to 'grass' on driver

A Man who admitted being a passenger in a stolen car refused to tell police the identity of the driver, North Lincolnshire magistrates heard.

Rebecca Dolby, prosecuting, said: "Shortly before 4am on March 29, police were conducting an area search at Barrow Haven. They saw a Vauxhall Cavalier and in the vehicle were two males."

Officers decided to speak to the men and turned their van around. But the two men got out of the car and ran off.
