ATR Group, the Aberdeen-based offshore tool hire company, today
announced plans to expand into central Scotland and England after
investing GBP 2 million in new equipment.
Alongside the geographical expansion, ATR said it also planned to
move into the downstream oil and gas sector.
The group has hired John Richardson, a specialist in technical
sales, to spearhead business development outside its traditional
north-east stronghold.
ATR said Richardson, 49, had "extensive experience of engineering
and fabrication both in sales and operations", having worked
throughout northern England and also overseas during a career
spanning more than 20 years.
