SMITHVILLE -- Ag Mechanics/Power Technology students received
awards recently at the FFA Ag Mechanics banquet at the Wayne County
Schools Career Center. The meal was prepared by Culinary Arts
students. Dan Yoder of Waynedale gave the invocation.
FFA President Titus Steiner of Smithville led the opening
ceremonies with the current officers. Junior instructor Wayne
Bartter and senior instructor Craig Wellert handed out awards.
In senior awards, top mechanic was senior Nick Flinn of
Northwestern. Best welder was Corey Marty of Norwayne. Ryan Sprunger
of Dalton had the highest grade point average, at 3.9.
