The City of St. Albans has seen its fair share of men and women
serve in the military, and now the St. Albans Historical Society is
honoring them with a new exhibit.
The historical society's Military Expo will open at 10 a.m.
Saturday, June 6, in the society's William Burdette Memorial
Building, on Fourth Avenue next to the train depot. The display will
continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Saturday through the summer.
Historical society member Carol Graley and her husband, Bill, are
spearheading the project, which consists mostly of framed
photographs of St. Albans veterans and other memorabilia dating from
World War I.
