Alan Holeman figures he has an adjustment to make.
After being the boss for many years, he will now work part-time
as an outside sales representative for M&M Pump & Supply, Inc., an
oil and gas field products and equipment supplier, in Henderson, Ky.
M&M, based in Clay City, Ill., has purchased Holeman's Alan
Supply, which Holeman co-owned with his wife, Barbara, at U.S. 664
and U.S. 41 Alternate.
The business' name is being changed to M&M.
Alan Holeman said he decided to sell the business because of his
age and his interest in becoming semi-retired.
"I'm OK with it," he said. "It'll just be different."
The sale price was not disclosed.
The Holemans, both 74, founded Alan Supply in 1991.
