For most of us, any day at the lake is sure to be a great one.
Whether cruising on the boat, soaking up the sun's rays on the dock
or floating around the cove on an inner tube, we are constantly
reminded of what a wonderful place Smith Mountain Lake really is.
But the lake area offers a multitude of other activities for lake
residents and visitors -- both young and old -- to enjoy. You just
have to venture a little farther out of your cove to find them. So
hang this list, with suggestions that might especially appeal to
the younger set, on your refrigerator and make it a point to try as
